(b) Allowances. A pensionable expatriation allowance is
payable to officers domiciled overseas and amounts to g166.67 a month on basic salaries $400 to 8930 and $280 a month on basic salaries above $930. This allowance is payable on

A temporary 'high cost of living allowance on a sliding scale is payable. For a married officer with children on minimum of scale this amounts to $305, on the maximum to 8390 per month. For a married officer without children 80% of standard allowance. For an urmarried officer 60% of standard allowance.
Free medical treatment and dental treatment at special rates are provided.

Quarters.
Free 2nd class passages for the offic r and his family, up to a maximum of 4 full fares, once in every 4 years, which is the normal tour of duty.
Furnished quarters will be provided on deduction of
not more than one seventh of sålary. In most cases it will be less.

Free uniform of an approved pattern and scale.is provided. Boots and/or shoes are included in uniform.
